DAY 2 DELHI

Spend the day discovering the heritage of Delhi. Morning tour of Old Delhi. Visit the 400-years-old Jama Mosque, the largest in India, followed by a cycle rickshaw ride through the teeming bazaar. Continue to Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon drive through the Lutyens’ Delhi, Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s Palace and India Gate, a war memorial arch built in honour of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War –I. Explore the famed Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and culminate the tour at Qutab Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site- the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72m). DAY 3 DELHI – RISHIKESH

Early morning transfer to railway station for your express train to Haridwar (Shatabdi Express - dep. 0650hrs and arr. 11:25hrs) Arrive in Haridwar and proveed for sightseeing of Haridwar visiting Rope Way Cable Ride to Mansa Devi Temple, Har Ki Pouri (Ganga Ghats) and local bazaar After the tour , continue drive to Rishikesh Rishikesh is one of the most holy places in India. It is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh represents the Gateway to the Himalayas and abounds in natural splendor. The spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an amazing sight. It is believed that several yogis and sages lived and practiced penance here. On arrival transfer to hotel. After a welcome drink and acclimatization briefing about the whole program, followed by introduction to the Yoga teacher. Evening dinner & overnight at hotel. Meals included: Breakfast (On board) + Dinner Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 4 IN RISHIKESH

This morning first YOGA CLASS. After relaxation learn about breath awareness exercise & stretching exercise. Later proceed for Soft Trek to Kunjapuri Temple. Also enjoy guided walking tour for encounter with Sadhus. Evening YOGA & MEDITATION CLASS. Late evening visit the Ghats for Aarti, dedicated to Goddesses Ganga. Overnight stay at hotel. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 5 IN RISHIKESH

Another day start with YOGA CLASS. Later proceed for sightseeing Rishikesh visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Raghunath Mandir & Triveni Ghat. Evening yoga & traditional meditation class with visiting instructor followed by lecture on Hinduism. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 6 IN RISHIKESH

Daily routine YOGA CLASS. Today depart for to visit TO RAMANA'S GARDEN across the Ganges River. Ramana’s Garden is a home and school for orphans and destitute children in the remote mountainous villages of the Himalayas near Rishikesh. There are currently more than 60 children living at the orphanage, and the program provides education for 160 children, many who attend from the surrounding villages. Through past programs, we have started a new library and computer center to provide education, enrichment programs, tutoring, and access to information through the installation of computers. The next two days will be spent in a variety of activities based on your interests, skills and talents. Enrichment programs will be implemented in the classrooms as well as workshops in library and computer center. Deliver books and educational materials for the children. Return to hotel by late afternoon. Evening free to relax and last day in Rishikesh Meals included: Breakfast + Dinner Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 7 RISHIKESH – NALAGARH

This morning drive to Nalagarh (290 Kms / approx. 7.5 hrs) Located at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas and offers a stunning view of the Shivalik Hills beyond the Sirsa River. The architecture of Nalagarh Fort clearly displays Mughal influence. The Nalagarh Fort rises over a 20 acre estate of forest land and is built on five levels. Of the five levels, three have manicured lawns Evening free to relax in Resort Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 8 NALAGARH – DHARAMSHALA

Morning leave for Dharmshala (215 kms/ approx 5.5 hrs). Under the shadow of the great rock wall of Dhaula Dhar where wander those legendary shephardesses, the Gaddi maidens, immediately above Dharamsala rises one of the main spurs of the Himalayas, the dark, pine-covered mountain-side reaching out towards the upper peaks that soar into the regions of eternal snow. Divided into upper and lower towns with a difference of some 457 metres (1,500 ft) between them against a background of snow-capped mountains, forests of giant conifers meet carefully cultivated tea gardens at the beautiful resort of Dharamsalawhich stands on the spur of the Dhauladhar range. The mountains enfold three sides of the town and the valley stretches beyond to the south. Know for its scenic-beauty amidst high pine trees, 73 tea gardens and other timber-yielding trees vying with one another for height, calmness and serenity. Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure. This evening enjoy Tibetan dinner at local restaurant Meals included: Breakfast + Dinner Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 9 DHARAMSHALA

Morning start with first MEDITATION SESSION in friendly and conducive environment. Later proceed to visit of city tour of Dharamsala covering Bagsu temple, Dalai Lama monasteries and Tibetan bazaar. Evening MEDITATION SESSION. Overnight in Hotel. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 10 DHARAMSHALA

MEDITATION SESSION in the morning. Later proceed to visit Kangra Art Museum This treasure trove of the Kangra valleys arts, crafts and rich past, display artifacts that date back to the 5th Century. It includes a gallery of famous paintings and a representative collection of sculptures, pottery and anthropological items. Shamiyanas and local dresses used by local royalty, old carved doors, jail and pndals are also on display. Coins jewellery and manuscripts are included. A section houses the works of contemporary artists, sculptures and photographers. Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 11 DHARAMSHALA - AMRITSAR

This morning drive to Amritar (210Kms / approx.6.5 hours) On arrival, check in to your hotel. Later proceed for excursion of Wagha Border closing ceremony The Wagah border, often called the "Berlin wall of Asia",[2] is a ceremonial border on the India–Pakistan Border where each evening there is a retreat ceremony called 'lowering of the flags',[3] which has been held since 1959.[4] At that time there is an energetic parade by the Border Security Force (B.S.F) of India and the Pakistan Rangers soldiers. It may appear slightly aggressive and even hostile to foreigners but in fact the paraders are imitating the pride and anger of a Cockeral.[1][5][6] Troops of each country put on a show in their uniforms with their colorful turbans.[7] Border officials from the two countries sometimes walk over to the offices on the other side for day to day affairs. The happenings at this border post have been a barometer of the India-Pakistan relations over the years.[1] Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 12 AMRITSAR – DELHI

Start your day with visit to Jalianwala bagh and famous Golden Temple - symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Transfer to railway station for your express train to Delhi (Shatabdi Express - dep. 1700hrs and arr. 23:05hrs) Meals included: Breakfast Overnight at the hotel

 

 

DAY 13 DEPART DELHI
